Mindful Reflections — Counseling

Where mind, body, and spirit heal together.

A small practice for adults, couples, and families — holistic, unhurried, and grounded in evidence. We treat emotional life and physical health as parts of one conversation.

On the work

We are dedicated to nurturing mind, body, and spirit through a holistic approach to wellness — because emotional well-being and physical health are deeply connected.

The practice integrates evidence-based therapies — Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, and Motivational Interviewing — into care tailored to the person in the room. None of it is run as a protocol.

Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, chronic pain, or other behavioral health challenges, we walk alongside you with compassion and support — helping you uncover root causes and build healthier patterns that last.

Who we support

A practice shaped to the person across the room.

Each engagement begins with the texture of your daily life — the things you find yourself returning to, and the patterns that have settled in over years.

  • Individuals

Life's transitions — large or small — can feel overwhelming. A safe space for self-exploration, building emotional resilience, and developing tools for lasting personal growth.

  • Couples

When communication breaks down, unresolved feeling creates distance. We help couples reconnect, work through conflict, and build steadier partnerships through compassionate guidance.

  • Families

Family dynamics are layered. We help families soften conflict, improve communication, and create a more supportive and harmonious environment at home.

Approach

Whole-person care, unhurried.

We focus on both your mental health and your physical well-being, recognizing that the two are deeply intertwined. Each treatment plan is personalized, drawing on a range of evidence-based therapies as the work asks for them.

A safe, non-judgmental space to explore difficult thoughts and emotions — and to develop tools for navigating life’s stressors, managing physical health conditions, and building healthier behaviors for lasting well-being.

Areas of focus

What we work with.

A short list, kept deliberately so. Each is a working relationship rather than a service rendered.

  • 01

    Anxiety & Depression

Effective, evidence-based treatment for managing emotional health and creating positive change in thought patterns and behaviors.

  • 02

    Bipolar & Personality Disorders

Tailored therapy for managing mood swings, emotional instability, and the behavioral challenges that accompany them.

  • 03

    Somatic Therapy

Healing trauma through body awareness and releasing stored tension — working with breath, attention, and the body's signals as part of psychotherapy.

  • 04

    Gastrointestinal Disorders

Treating gut-related issues such as IBS, IBD, and acid reflux — conditions with both physical and emotional components.

  • 05

    Couples & Family Work

Conflict patterns, repair, and the unspoken things underneath. Short or long-form engagements as the work asks for.
